The UFC boss has taken aim at his promotion rivals yet again. He made the comments on Talk the Talk featuring Eddie Hearn and Tony Bellew.
De La Hoya has been on Dana’s mind ever since the former champion persuaded people to not watch the Mayweather v/s Pacquiao fight. White and Arum have long resented each other, though the legendary Top Rank boss intensified their feud most recently by admitting he has “very little respect” for White, as well as labeling him a “cowboy” for promoting UFC events during the coronavirus pandemic.
White made snide remarks about the two while praising Hearn, saying, “You’re not a f****** douchebag. That’s the difference between you and them. You’re actually a smart guy that’s built a business and can look at another guy’s business and appreciate it and say ‘look at what this guy’s built’. Those two don’t have that ability.”
He added, “Oscar De La Hoya, let’s be honest. One of the weirdest f****** human beings to ever walk the face of the earth.The guy is a total f****** nutbag. And Bob Arum is just a f****** scumbag.”
