Arsenal has recently been credited with an interest in attacker Rodrigo Moreno, but the Gunners are currently contacting Valencia to explore a possible move during this summer’s transfer window.
Valencia is said to have a versatile attacker, worth €60 m (£52.5 m). The 29-year-old, who scored five times and gave 11 assists in 28 appearances for Los Che this season, was previously affiliated with both Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Rodrigo’s new contract at the Mestalla has just two years left to run, but according to AS, the former Spanish champions still regard the attacker highly, putting a figure of €60 m (£52.5 m) on his shoulders. Spain has previous experience in Premier League football, representing Bolton Wanderers on loan during the 2010-11 season, making 21 appearances for the club.
Arsenal appears to be planning for life after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as the Gabon International continues to be linked to a move away from the Emirate Stadium.
