Jerome Boateng is pleased to remain at Bayern Munich because he feels once again respected at the club under new boss Hansi Flick.
“From the outset Hansi Flick assured me he worked with me and valued my values. Now I love football really again. I’d always been dreaming about my life before Hansi Flick.” Boateng confessed to.
“I need the coach and his coaching team to be confident. I had it all over again. I worked well and well right before the period with Hansi Flick, but I wasn’t permitted to practice and never got the opportunity to get into my rhythm. Every player is having a hard time,” he went on.
He was in and out of the Bayern XI under former boss Niko Kovac, but in 2020, owing to a yellow-card ban, he only missed one Bundesliga contest.
The 31-year-old has been connected for some time to an exit from the Allianz Arena, with Arsenal and Chelsea claiming as possible destinations among the clubs.
Now, however, he has confirmed his future with Bayern: “I feel strong at the moment, and can expect I’ll live. My emphasis is completely on Bayern and the season under way.”
