Bruno Fernandes is undergoing extra training sessions with teammate Diogo Dalot ahead of Manchester United’s planned return to action next month.
The 25-year-old took part in private sessions with RH Elite Coaching in Manchester, in a bid to reach peak fitness in time for the big return.
This training is in addition to small group training. Fernandes and the rest of the Man Utd team returned to training last week, for the first time since March, with Premier League chiefs targeting a restart in mid-to-late June.
The company posted a video showing Fernandes practising penalties and free kicks on all social media, including Twitter, while also participating in a few passing drills.
In its first three months after joining Sporting Lisbon in January, the Portuguese midfielder was a revelation. Fernandes scored and set up six goals for United in nine appearances.
But the coronavirus pandemic brought the campaign to a halt for a three-month hiatus.
