The first batch of coronavirus tests in the First and Second Bundesliga shows that 10 football players and club staff have been infected.
The Bundesliga has announced that a total of 1,724 tests have been done among players and professional staffs, according to leading media. Moreover, Cologne has confirmed three positive tests and one positive case has been reported from Stuttgart.
The Bundesliga should resume at the end of May, and testing will continue regardless of the start of the championship.
All clubs will have to be quarantined before being allowed to play, and according to the rules, anyone who has been in contact with the infected must spend 14 days in self-isolation.
No names or details, like the clubs where they came from, of the infected have been released.
