Jorginho and N’Golo Kante were linked to moves away from Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2020-21 campaign. Nevertheless, Chelsea is said to be ‘resisting any offers’ for both the players this summer.
Juventus is said to be interested in bringing Jorginho back to Italy, while Real Madrid and Barcelona are believed to be admirers of Kante.
However, according to ESPN, Frank Lampard’s side is not prepared to listen to offers for either player during this summer’s transfer window.
The report adds that Chelsea ‘wants to be active’ in the upcoming market despite the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak, which has stopped most football in the world.
Any new players were not allowed to join the club last summer due to a transfer ban, but the London outfit was free to do business in January after their suspension was reduced on appeal.
In any case the two players remain at Stamford Bridge for now.
