Danny Rose considers Andy Robertson to be the best left-back player in European football. The Liverpool star is “a nature freak” according to Rose.
The England international who is now in a loan spell from Spurs at Newcastle, told The Lockdown Tactics podcast: “For the last two years he has been the best left-back in England and, perhaps, in Europe. To me now, without a doubt, he’s the one I’m looking to catch. He’s the best.”
He continued, “Andy Robertson seems like a natural fan. I’m watching him play football and with every game he’s offering the same effort.
“His level of quality is incredibly strong. He’s really fantastic. We played Hull at White Hart Lane four or five years ago and Robertson was playing for Hull, as was Harry Maguire.
“Back then, if I’m honest, I wouldn’t have noticed Robertson, but he moved to Liverpool and he was the best left-back for them.”
