David Beckham admits he is still missing football, even seven years after he retired from the game.
As he turned out for Paris Saint-Germain in a Ligue 1 match against Brest on May 18, 2013, the former England captain played the last match of a sparkling professional career.
Beckham has also represented Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and Milan as part of a 21-year professional career.
“Today is 7 years since I played my last game as a professional footballer, I can’t believe it.” he wrote on Instagram. “So wonderful memories. I was so lucky to have worked with awesome teammates and had incredible fans support. I really miss it. Can’t wait for the next Inter Miami chapter.”
To commemorate the occasion, Beckham shared a compilation of some of his best moments, like the 1999 Champions League victory of Manchester United, accompanying the message.
