Defending champion Bayern and 2018 winner Eintracht will meet in the semi-finals, while Bayer Levekusen and quarter-finalist Saarbrucken will compete in the second match. The dates of these semi-final trials have also been postponed. They will be played on June 9 and 10.
“This variant is the best. We all hope to experience great matches again next season in full arenas and in the stadiums of amateur clubs that make this competition so unique,” said DFB President Fritz Keller.
The final was originally scheduled for May 23, but was postponed to early July due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The German Bundesliga, however, continues on May 16, with all matches played without spectators.
