There is a possibility that the whole next season of the English Premier League can take place with empty tribunes.
“I’ve seen a report from the England Department of Health and the head of the medical department. They made it clear that the social and health situation of citizens will not change in the next six to twelve months. It’s important that people understand that. We must be prepared for all options.” EPL medical adviser Mark Jillett told The Guardian.
In the near future English teams should resume trainings and begin preparation to continue the season in the EPL. However even if the season in English superiority resumes, fans may not be able to attend matches of favourite teams soon.
All European clubs are gradually coming back from quarantine and returning to training. They may have to issue similar restrictions as well.
