Rangers confirmed the signing of Ianis Hagi.
They now have the player on a permanent deal after purchasing Genk’s midfielder after his six-month loan deal.
Hagi told the club’s official website: “Other clubs expressed interest, but my goal was still to return to Glasgow and play for Rangers.”
“I really enjoyed my loan spell at Ibrox and look forward to playing really soon in front of our supporters, so I hope all the Rangers fans and your families will remain healthy and happy for now. I’m ready to rejoin the squad for the pre-season and once again put on the famous jersey.”
Gerrard said: “Ianis is known as a young, exciting player in Europe so it’s fantastic news to see him join Rangers permanently.”
