India could resume its qualifying campaign for the 2022 World Cup on October 8, Goal reports.
India will then meet Bangladesh away from home on October 13, according to the provisional schedule worked out by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), while the last group stage game against Afghanistan would probably be played on November 17.
Depending on their progress, they could be playing qualifier matches for all of October and November.
It should be noted, however, that the final decision depends on the Coronavirus situation and the travel regulations, as applicable to each country.
FIFA too, is yet to rubber-stamp the fresh dates and the AFC expects formal certification.
