There are reports that Jordan Lukaku has been left off the Lazio bench against Juventus for disciplinary purposes.
Generally, Lukaku would have been next in line for the role on the left but instead as coach Simone Inzaghi chose a relative debutant who usually plays on the right.
Inzaghi chose to give Djavan Anderson his first Serie A start in place of Jony, who was injured and Adam Marusic.
That seems to have been the cause of the tension. It is said that Lukaku angrily reacted to the decision and was sent to the stands.
The Belgian wing-back, Inter striker Romelu’s younger brother, was initially included on the squad for the trip to Turin.
He was left in the Allianz Juventus Stadium stands, though.now say it was on disciplinary grounds, and not an accident.
For Inzaghi, it was a good stance to take, given that he still has a decimated squad at his hands.
