Former Bayern Munich head coach Jupp Heynckes discussed Manchester City attacker Leroy Sané in an interview; as well as whether or not Bayern is willing to target Germany foreign.
“He has not made a breakthrough to an absolute top talent for me yet.” Heynckes said to Welt. “I assume he’s a crossroad player. Will he continue to focus harder on himself, or just remain an outstanding talent?”
Bayern Munich has shown clear interest in recruiting Sané, but teams do not have the funds to invest more than €100 million on a player considering the global crisis. “He’s got to be able to go forward. Although there is no reason in showing skills only sometimes. I told you sincerely, so I don’t believe the price is reasonable,” concluded Heynckes.
