Manchester United and Chelsea target Kai Havertz has asked to sit down with his bosses at Bayer Leverkusen.
Following a spectacular season, the German star has drawn attention from all over Europe, especially City and United.
Both the Champions league duo and Real Madrid were all linked to a Havertz swoop.
In fact, of late, Chelsea even emerged as favourites to sign the German and have already demonstrated their willingness to splash the cash.
So, as he seeks to figure out his future, Bild reports that the 21-year-old has demanded to sit down in the Bay Arena with senior figures to decide how he’ll be playing his football next season.
Leverkusen CEO Rudi Voller has already confirmed that they would allow the player to leave in the coming months if an acceptable arrangement can be achieved.
“There is nothing special to say, nothing specific to consider. He is our player as of now.” he said. “We have our plans; we know what he would do. I really think he can continue for another year. We’ve got an agreement: if it works, he’ll be free to go this summer.”
