Kepa Arrizabalaga fears that Chelsea, Frank Lampard’s side, would prohibit clubs from signing him ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Valencia is thought to be interested in signing foreign Spain this summer, among other clubs.
According to The Sun, however, Kepa is reportedly afraid that Chelsea will be locking him out of a summer exit.
When he joined the Blues from Athletic Bilbao in August 2018, the Spaniard became the most expensive goalkeeper in the world.
However, he largely failed to make his mark at Stamford Bridge. Before the division was postponed in March, Kepa was left out of four of Chelsea’s five Premier League games. This despite the fact that he has only kept six clean sheets in 25 league outings this term.
Allegedly Chelsea is already putting together plans to replace the 25-year-old as they weigh up a £ 15 m bid for Roman Burki from Borussia Dortmund, who is out of contract next summer.
