Manchester City have been approached by Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane with a bid of £35 m.
Sane, as it stands, will be out of work at Etihad Stadium next season. The German had been inclined to move to the Allianz Arena in the run-up to the 2019-20 campaign, but the proposed transfer fell by the time the attacker took a serious knee injury.
Bayern continues to be linked to the 24-year-old, however, and according to Bild, the German outfit has already settled on personal terms with Sane
Bayern is now aiming to deliver slightly less than the £88 m amount that was quoted last summer. The Bundesliga champions made a bid of £35 m in advance of this summer’s transfer window.
The forward scored 39 times and recorded 45 assists in 134 appearances for the English champions after joining from Schalke 04 ahead of the 2015-16 season.
