For Kylian Mbappe, Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo are the two greatest stars in football.
For a long time, the mutual appreciation between Mbappe and the Real Madrid coach at least has been known, adding only to the speculation that links him with a move to the Spanish capital. Now, along with Zidane, he also cites Ronaldo as an inspiration.
“First Zidane for everything he achieved and his involvement in national team and then it was Ronaldo.” Mbappe told the Daily Mirror (via Marca) when asked who he was looking up to. “Ronaldo has won so much and still remains a winner even after so much success. They both have left their mark in the history of the game-and I want to leave my own chapter in the history books too.”
