In their attempts to recruit Milot Rashica, and as Werder Bremen confirms that the winger will be transferred, both Milan and Napoli have been strengthened.
“There is definitely tremendous momentum around Rashica and we are negotiating for him with another club,” Frank Baumann said to Bild (via).
Both Milan and Napoli are apparently eager to sign the 24-year-old and the technical director of his team admits that he should pass on shortly:
“We have to start living with the fact that next season he’s not going to be here but we’re certainly not going to sell him for less than he’s worth.”
In a generally tough season for Bremen, Rashica has become a bright spot, recording 11 goals and eight assists in 34 appearances.
Rashica plays mostly as a right-footed left winger, and has four goals for Kosovo in 25 caps.
