Radja Nainggolan, midfielder at Cagliari, mourns his niece’s death.
Sport Mediaset reports that after suffering from cancer for a long time, his niece’s battle with the disease has sadly been lost after all.
“Honey, we all miss you. Your boyfriend, kids, dad, brothers and sisters, everyone,” he wrote on Instagram. “So young, I still can’t believe it.
“Now go to mum and give her a big hug. She’ll protect you even more.”
These last two sentences clue us in on the depth of the tragedy- the niece’s mother had already passed away previously.
