Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar says that not understanding when football will start is making him “depressed”.
“It causes me anxiety not realizing when I will return [to play],” Neymar published on his official website. “I also enjoy playing, working, living in the professional atmosphere alongside my PSG friends.”
Neymar’s final game was a 2-0 victory against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League round-of-16 match on March 11. Three days later, the top three leagues of French football were postponed indefinitely owing to the global outbreak.
Neymar returned to his native Brazil with permission from his team before France began a mandatory lockout on March 17 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
