Barcelona is reportedly open to letting Ousmane Dembele go on loan in the next transfer window.
Club officials are now willing to part with France international on a temporary basis in a bid to reduce their wage bill, according to the Daily Mail.
Due to their financial outlay on the winger in 2017, Barca still prefers to cash in on the 23-year-old, who struggled at Camp Nou during his time.
The consequences of the coronavirus pandemic mean that no clubs will be able to pay anywhere near the €105 m fee that the Catalan giants paid three years ago to Borussia Dortmund.
So, to cut costs optimally, Barcelona will have to temporarily loan the player to some other club.
As such, both Manchester United and Arsenal are currently monitoring the situation.
Reports in Spain also say that Juventus may have an interest in Dembele, a possibility that plays into the favour of Barca as they look to sign Miralem Pjanic this season.
