Tottenham are the closest to bring in Ivan Rakitic, 32, and the London club are ready to pay the £ 20m compensation Barcelona is seeking, Spanish media reported.
Rakitic asserts that he is in his best years and that he can still play at the highest level. He has himself thus repeatedly emphasized that he wants to stay in Barca.
