The Dutch TV program Veronicainside reports that Ajax full-back Sergino Dest is holding out for a move to Barcelona. In this spirit, he has already declined an approach from Bayern Munich in the expectation that the Spanish giants will join the race for his signature.
The 19-year-old has established himself as a regular member of the Ajax First Team this season, making 36 appearances in all competitions while scoring twice and adding six assists.
The USA International has just two years left on its current contract at Ajax, who are willing to consider selling it should a suitable offer arrive.
As such, Bayern Munich is understood to already have identified the youngster as a transfer target for the next window, while Tottenham Hotspur has also been linked to a move.
However, Dest has declined an offer from Bayern as he has his heart set on transferring to Barcelona.
