West Ham United is reportedly determined to keep Declan Rice at the centre of Chelsea’s interest.
The 21-year-old is under contract at the Hammers until 2024 but has been persistently linked to a move away from London Stadium following promising performances over the past two seasons.
Since becoming a professional at West Ham in 2015, Rice has made 101 club appearances in all competitions, including 29 top-flight appearances this season.
Latest reports have indicated that David Moyes’ side could be up for sale, but according to Goal, West Ham is not preparing to partition with Rice this summer. The report argues that the Hammers are determined to keep Rice on the books next season, amid reports that they may be forced to sell their most precious commodity in order to cope financially with the coronavirus pandemic.
Rice’s former Chelsea club is said to be enjoying a reunion with their former youth player, but Manchester United has reportedly cooled their interest in the game recently.
