After the club experienced a cyber-attack on their operating infrastructure last week, Manchester United have been supported by the National Data Security Center in recovering their IT.
According to The Guardian, an NCSC spokesperson said: “The NCSC is aware of an incident affecting Manchester United football club and we are working with the organisation and partners to understand the impact.”
United are hopeful that soon, their internal IT will be recovered, with the club working to ensure that the network is safe before switching it back on.
In the meantime, as with certain other activities, email is not open to workers.
