Barcelona Are Third in La Liga after 5-2 over Getafe
With this victory, Barcelona continue to remain strong contenders in the chase for the La Liga title.
They are third, right behind Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, which occupy the first two positions. Atletico lead the table, and no wonder- their wonderful coach Diego Simeone is the highest paid manager in La Liga. Barca won this match with the help of Messi’s brace, who’s the highest paid player of the Spanish top-flight.
Barca are currently five points behind Atletico and two behind Real. What’s more, Barcelona also have a game less than their rivals, which means they have yet to play a game.
Now fourth-placed, Sevilla also joined the race for the title, because they are now just six points behind leader Atletico.
