UEFA has announced its shortlists for the men’s and women’s teams of the year.
And it is unsurprisingly the Champions League winners Bayern Munich who dominate the lists.
UEFA revealed on Tuesday the fan vote shortlist and Bayern led the way in terms of votes.
They have 10 players up for inclusion, including new Liverpool signing Thiago Alcantara.
Also, for the 17th straight year, Cristiano Ronaldo has been selected for the UEFA Men’s Team of the Year.
Once again, Ronaldo is present- the 17th year in a row in which he has been nominated.
He hopes to extend his 14-inclusion streak in the line-up. He’s four ahead of Lionel Messi, who’s in the running again as well.
