Paris Saint-Germain newcomer Sergio Ramos is most likely going appear in the squad for the Ligue 1 tenth round clash. Only recently, our sister site warned about football transfers away for the ex-Real Madrid captain/defender even before his PSG start. Though Ramos’ rudeness toward PSG’s staff corroborated this football news, Ramos may finally debut for PSG this week, after all.
34-year-old defender Sergio Ramos joined Paris Saint-Germain from Real Madrid as a free agent back in the summer transfer window. He spent 16 seasons at Santiago Bernabeu, and the last few of them as the Los Blancos captain, too.
However, upon moving to the Parisian side, Ramos failed to make his debut for the new club due to injury. Though it has been over two months since the new 2021-22 season started, Ramos has not featured once for PSG.
He has failed to make an appearance even as a substitute, as another new signee Lionel Messi initially did. But that fact may be subject to change now at Parc des Princes.
Football News – Ramos May Finally Debut for PSG This Week
Sergio Ramos may make his Paris Saint-Germain debut against Angers at Parc des Princes on Friday, October 15, Culture PSG reports.
Back in action after the international duty, Mauricio Pochettino has a depleted pool of players to choose from. And this scarcity in players is finally forcing the manager to call upon the Spaniard to join the squad.
So, PSG expect Sergio Ramos to be back on the field for the first time since last season. He last played in Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League semi-final clash against Chelsea on May 5th.
