Napoli head coach Gennaro Gattuso has summed up the first leg of the Europa League 1/16 final against Granada (0-2).
“We lost Politano today, so why go into the next round if there is no one to play? All we can do tomorrow is count those who are left and then we will see,” said Gattuso to Sky Sport Italy.
“We have 10-11 players out, Politano has a rib problem, he can’t breathe properly. But we can’t sit and cry, we have to find a solution.”
“We lack precision [in finishing off attacks]. We created chances and we definitely deserved more. There’s no point in talking about whether we’ll be able to get back into the game, the main thing is to get our players back on track,” he said, about the match itself.
