Paris Saint-Germain striker Lionel Messi has commented on his former teammate Xavi Hernandez’s appointment as the new Barcelona head coach.
“Xavi is a coach who knows a lot, who knows the house perfectly, who know everything well since he was a child,” Messi told Marca.
“He is a very important person for the young people and I have no doubt that he will help Barcelona grow.”
“I always said that I would return to Barcelona because I want to help the club in what I can and obviously I would love to be able to return one day,” Messi finished.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain newcomer Sergio Ramos will reportedly be part of the squad for the Champions League 5th round clash.

And, according to L’Equipe, the medical staff gave Mauricio Pochettino the green light for Ramos. Now, the coach can finally add the Spaniard to the list of players available for the next game.
