Real Salt Lake who are holding onto a spot for the playoffs hosted DC United United on Sunday. The visitors who are sitting bottom of the Eastern Conference were not expected to do much.
The hosts dominated most of the possession and created plenty of chances. However, the defence of the visitors were up for the challenge.
Black-and-Red did create a few odd chances but were not able to get on the scoresheet. Thus, the contest ended as a goalless draw.

Wayne Rooney: “We knew this, and it’s a tough game and the altitude. I spoke to the players after the game, and they found it difficult to breathe at times. So we knew it was always gonna be a tough place to come in and get a win. And so to come in and pick up a point against a good team in difficult circumstances, for us was was very pleasing.”
