The Miami Heat announced on Sunday that the NBA Sixth Man of the Year from the previous season, Tyler Herro Extends Four-Year Contract With Miami Heat.
According to several sources, the contract is for an average of $30 million every season, plus performance bonuses that might total $130 million over the course of the agreement.
Tyler Herro is a good player with many skills, and Heat president Pat Riley was thrilled about his five-year deal.

The 22-year-old American was taken by Miami with the 13th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
The Heat made it to the NBA Finals in his debut season, falling to the Los Angeles Lakers in the championship game of 2020. However, they were eliminated in the first round of the 2021 playoffs and lost to Boston in this year’s Eastern Conference finals in a seven-game series.
Herro earned the NBA top reserve award last season after starting 56 of his 66 games and averaged 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 32.6 minutes of action.
Over the course of his three league seasons, Herro has averaged 16.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game, increasing his scoring average each time.
