European Title: This summer, Adam Azim hopes to capture the European championship.
For a 20-year-old who is only entering the ninth fight of his professional career on Saturday at Wembley Arena, that is a sign of genuine desire.
He told Sky Sports, “Hopefully I’ll be contending for the European title in June or July.” “Getting that before my birthday would be ideal.
“Winning the European championship when one is still quite young would be fantastic. Every action must be taken gradually.”
It would put him on the road to the world title match he so desperately wants.
One of my dreams is to advance to international fame one day, stated Azim. “Soon, one day. My dream is to win the global championship before I turn 22.”
Another critical stage in his development is his upcoming bout. Santos Reyes, Nicaragua, will be his first encounter with an unbeaten foe.
“He’s a tough adversary. He’s going to come and try it for sure. He’s 12-0. I don’t underestimate anyone, so I’m eager to put on a show, and I’m hoping he’ll give me the best, which is what I want,” said Azim.
One of my dreams is to become famous all across the world, said Azim. “Within a few days. Before I turn 22 I want to win the world title.”
His impending fight represents yet another crucial phase in his career. It will be his first battle with an unbeatable rival in Santos Reyes, Nicaragua.
“He is a formidable foe. He will undoubtedly visit and give it a try. He’s 12-0. I’m ready to put on a show because I never underestimate anyone, and I’m hoping he’ll give me the best since that’s what I want,” Azim remarked.
Azim’s offensive prowess is already well-known. But he cautions that one of his best qualities is his defence.
“Given how strong my defence is, I’d say it ranks among the finest in the UK. Nobody has yet seen it. Many people claim that I use both of my hands extremely heavily, but I believe that this is a form of defence,” he explained.
“The goal of the game in boxing is to hit and avoid getting hit, so defence is crucial.”
He thinks he is becoming a fully capable combatant. It comes down to speed, power, intelligence, and timing, according to Azim.
“Speed loses to timing. Speed and timing are superior to power, but if you have both, there is no way anyone can stand in your way.”
