Garcia vs Davis: The fight between American fighters Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis is “a done deal” for some point in 2023, according to both combatants.
Each boxer acknowledged that the lightweight fight, which has been long suspected to be in the works, will take place in Las Vegas.
Davis acknowledged that he already has a fight scheduled for January 7 in Washington, DC, but that Garcia will be his opponent in his subsequent bout.
“I’ll be fighting again on January 7. Stay tuned for more information! After that, Ryan and I will have the agreement signed, sealed, and delivered ” he said.

“Right now, boxing NEEDS this match. It’s time to return to what made this sport so exciting for the fans in the first place: glitzy fights in locations like Las Vegas, grudge match plotlines, and most importantly: the best competing against the best.
“I enjoy building relationships with new, young fans and am confident that I can introduce them to the world’s most beautiful sport. Time to start working and demonstrate what boxing is all about.”
