Boxing News: Without a doubt, Richard Riakporhe will defeat Krzystof Glowacki this weekend, bringing him that much nearer to a shot at the cruiserweight world championship.
Riakporhe has had a spotless start to his professional career despite having a small amateur resume, having eliminated 11 opponents in 15 matches.
He shot up the rankings with victories over domestic rivals Chris Billam-Smith, Jack Massey, and Deion Jumah.
The 33-year-old is aware that another statement victory over Glowacki on the Eubank vs. Smith bill will put him in a position to make a world title challenge.
Riakporhe responded, “Pain!” when asked what he planned to give on Saturday to Sky Sports. I’m done now. I can tell you that Glowacki will experience pain.
“He poses a real threat. We’re discussing a former two-time world cruiserweight champion. He is no fool.
“I am aware of the powerful Polish fighters who travel to engage in combat and i picture myself competing against a skilled Glowacki. Have to make sure I can defeat the best Glowacki, and I’m going to do just that.
“I believe that winning is the most crucial factor, but we also strive to win in spectacular fashion, which is why we train in a particular way.

Growing up in the notorious Aylesbury council estates in Southeast London, Riakporhe had a tough childhood. At the age of 15, he nearly lost his life after being stabbed outside a bar.
That inspired him to start boxing in an effort to change his life, and after a modest pro debut, he has now made a tremendous improvement to position himself to face a world champion.
“The way I’m positioned, my whole life may change in a few fights. So I think 2023 is going to be something really amazing, something inconceivable,” he said
“By the end of the year, I’ll be in an extraordinary situation. This year is mine! This will take place. Why? Because I’m doing all the necessary steps to make this happen.
“I’m working hard to get ready. My thinking is sound. I’m making a lot of sacrifices, and I do know that in this game, you receive what you put in.
“It has been a protracted trip. Every conflict and circumstance has led me to where I am now. I think my destiny is for greatness. I’m destined to travel to a location that most people think is impossible.”
