Last April, Taylor stunned Serrano in Madison Square Garden’s sold-out opening match and prevailed on a split decision to retain his title as the undisputed lightweight world champion.
In May, Taylor will compete in Dublin for the first time in her professional career, putting her lightweight titles on the line once more.

Taylor, 36, has won all 22 of her professional fights, most recently against Karen Carabajal in London in October. Following her victory over Cruz, Serrano’s record improved to 44-2-1.
“This is more than a dream come true – my debut in Ireland against Amanda Serrano,” Taylor stated of their rematch.
“This is amazing. I anticipate the upcoming fight to be just as great as the previous one.”
Jordan Maldonado, Serrano’s trainer, said: “Taylor battled against us in New York. Although we are Puerto Ricans, this is essentially our home.
“One of the things I had indicated was that Ireland is the only place where I would accept the Katie Taylor fight. She is due it.”
In December, Serrano spoke to ESPN and said: “The fight is really popular and, in my opinion, helps to establish women’s boxing.
“I believe it adds the necessary exclamation point and demonstrates our presence and commitment to meeting the issue,”
Regarding the first bout, Serrano added: “It hit me the next day when I realised the viewers weren’t just boxing fans; they were celebrities outside of boxing who recognised who we were and what we were doing. establishing history
