India’s ODI Series Victory: At Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday, India defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the third and final ODI to win the series 2-1. Shikhar Dhawan, the series captain for India, chose to bowl first after winning the toss in the decisive game. By bundling out South Africa for 99 runs, the bowlers demonstrated that his choice was correct. With a four-wicket haul, Kuldeep Yadav excelled. Thanks to Shubman Gill’s 49-run innings, India was able to complete the little total they were set in 19.1 overs.
An elated captain Dhawan accepted the trophy at the post-match ceremony, adding to the moment’s memorability with his signature thigh celebration.

Dhawan’s series against South Africa as captain was remarkable, but his performance as a batter was subpar. He only scored 4 runs in the first game, followed by 13 runs in the second, and 8 runs in the deciding ODI.
Washington Sundar, Mohammed Siraj, and Shahbaz Ahmed each took two wickets in the last match.
On the day of the game, Kuldeep had a ball and recorded 4 for 18 in 4.1 overs. He bowled a double-wicket maiden during his outing. Despite missing a chance to get a hat-trick of wickets, he made sure to put up the maximum effort.
Heinrich Klaasen was South Africa’s top scorer with 34 runs, but they had a terrible outing overall with seven of their batters being struck out for single-digit totals. Their bowling appeared ineffectual as well, as India easily won the match.
