CSK vs RCB: The RCB batting mastermind was bowled by CSK’s new pace wonder Akash Singh for just six runs on his own, giving the team’s supporters a cause to celebrate.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batters displayed exceptional hitting skills to hammer 226 for the loss of six wickets in the currently playing match against the host Royal Challengers Bangalore.
During a break, RCB started their pursuit but were abruptly stopped when ace batsman Virat Kohli had to make his way to the dugout. The RCB batting mastermind was bowled by CSK’s new pace wonder Akash Singh for just six runs on his own, giving the team’s supporters a cause to celebrate.
While Kohli’s dismissal made CSK fans happy, his wife Anushka Sharma was left speechless and was shown on video expressing complete shock at the former RCB captain’s early departure.
As soon as he realised he had Kohli in his possession, Akash Singh leapt for joy. The length ball was pitched towards midwicket, and the right-handed hitter attempted to clear some space and put it away, but all he managed to do was underage it on his boot, allowing it to seep to his stumps.
CSK hitters deceive RCB bowlers and reach a massive total.
The CSK batsmen took full advantage of the favourable batting conditions at Chennai’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. For the visiting team, Ajinkya Rahane started the carnage with a score of 37 off 20 balls.
Devon Conway, a southpaw, resumed the assault by scoring 83 runs off 45 balls, including six sixes and six fours. Yet another Southpaw from the CSK camp, Shivam Dube, amassed 52 off 27 deliveries, including five sixes and two fours, to deliver the genuine poison.
On a track that was designed for batting, RCB bowlers had trouble getting their lengths just right. In his four overs against the Yellow Army, Vyshak Vijaykumar, who had three wickets against Delhi Capitals in the previous match and was the standout for RCB with the ball, went for 62 runs.
