Hemang Badani, the batting coach for Sunrisers Hyderabad, believes that although Brook was out for a two-ball duck against David Warner’s team, it is only a matter of time before the Englishman gets his rhythm in the current competition and that all he needs is one solid innings to get back in the game.
“It’s a matter of gaining momentum and getting back in contact. I really believe that all it takes is one middle-of-the-road bump before it returns to focus. I firmly believe Harry will rank among the top players in cricket,” Badani said during the post-match conference. “You have to give them enough ideas and strategies on a given surface against a given attack, what are your options, what shots you can play, and what’s the expected role of you.”

Despite scoring a respectable total in the first innings, Mitchell Marsh and Phil Salt’s attack on the SRH bowlers put the Orange Army under pressure in the second half of the game. In order to benefit the visitors, Badani clarified the advice given to bowlers during the stoppage.
“If I said we weren’t reflective, I’d be lying. We were concerned when we saw them scoring runs and batting quickly, but after the timeout break, the bowlers received the information that many of the DC hitters were playing defensively and that we were giving them pace and a slightly shorter length.
