In the ICC Men’s ODI Rankings, South African batsman Rassie van der Dussen has risen to a career-high third spot thanks to his outstanding century in the first ODI against England on Tuesday at Chester-le-Street. After scoring 134 runs off 117 balls against England, the 33-year-old has moved up three spots and earned Player of the Match honours. In T20Is, Van der Dussen has also performed well, finishing fourth in June of last year.
After waiting three years, Virat Kohli finally scored an international century, which has made him the talk of the town. At the Asia Cup, Kohli scored 276 runs in five games, helping him move up 14 points to the 15th slot in the Men’s T20I Batting rankings.

After being absent from the most recent game, Jasprit Bumrah cedes the top spot to Trent Boult of New Zealand, while Matt Henry has climbed one spot to eighth. Alazarri Joseph of the West Indies, a fast bowler, moved up three spots to 18th, Mitchell Santner of New Zealand moved up two spots to 23rd, Sandeep Lamichhane of Nepal moved up six spots to 33rd, and Safyaan Sharif of Scotland moved up four spots to 56th.
