IPL 2023: Celebrities wowed cricket fans around the world with their performances before the first match between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Gujarat Titans (GT), the defending champions (CSK).
The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad hosted the grand opening ceremony for the eagerly anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Celebrities wowed cricket fans around the world with their performances before the first match between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Gujarat Titans (GT), the defending champions (CSK).
There was a drone display to start the programme. Especially noteworthy is the fact that about 1500 drones were employed to make the prized IPL Trophy and other decorations in the sky. A well-known Indian actress, fashion designer, and television presenter named Mandira Bedi then made a vehement speech to open the proceedings.
Arijit Singh, a popular singer, opened the activities with a performance, captivating the crowd with a variety of tunes. Arijit began the programme with “Ae Vatan” from the film “Raazi,” starring Alia Bhatt. He was observed playing the piano and singing simultaneously.
