IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore has had a successful season thus far in IPL 2023, winning four of their first seven games. Due to Faf du Plessis’ rib injury, which prevents him from taking the field, the team has been captained by star batter Virat Kohli for the past three games. Faf du Plessis has been replaced by an Impact player during RCB’s fielding.
RCB has won both of its matches against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals so far this tournament under Kohli’s direction. “Virat Kohli is a cricketer on a different level, as you can see. He might not be satisfied with what we say about him. He always works to maintain a high standard for the game. It’s great to witness his intensity on the pitch and the attitude he gives to the side. He constantly strives to raise the bar and get better. The intensity is the same whether there are 20 overs, 50 overs, or a Test match. He is a high-level employee,” Bangar was quoted as saying by India Today.

Right-arm seamer Mohammed Siraj, who leads the list of IPL 2023’s leading wicket-takers along with Rashid Khan, who has 14 scalps to his credit, is one of the main players for RCB. For the RCB, Siraj has been fantastic with the ball and has had success grabbing wickets during the powerplay.
With 10 wickets under his belt, Harshal Patel has been the second most productive bowler for RCB behind Siraj. Bangar praised the seam pair and remarked that they both come through for the team in difficult overs.
“Yes, Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel are quite important to us, and their combined experience is really helpful. Both of them come through for us in difficult overs, but Siraj stands out because he has been on fire for the past year and has incredible confidence. We give Harshal Patel greater attention. He has been a little off-guard this season and bowls challenging overs,” according to Bangar.
