PBKS vs LSG: In the 38th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) faced a battle at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. Shikhar Dhawan, the captain of the hosts, elected to bowl first after winning the toss. Kagiso Rabada came into the attack and bowled the LSG captain for just 12 runs, giving Punjab an early victory.

However, Badoni was dismissed by England all-rounder Liam Livingstone after making 43 off 24 balls. His knock had three boundaries and the same number of maximums.
Livingstone entered the fray in the 14th over, watched Badoni play a reverse sweep stroke, and pulled the delivery in the second ball. He bowled around the leg stump in the following over, but the LSG hitter hit a six over the far backward square leg. Livingstone forced Badoni to reach for the third delivery of the over, but this time fielder Rahul Chahar at deep backward square leg collected the catch to put an end to the batter’s stay.
After playing seven matches so far, PBKS has won four of them, placing them sixth in the IPL 2023 points standings. On April 22, in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, they defeated the five-time IPL champion Mumbai Indians (MI) by a score of 13 runs. LSG, on the other hand, holds the fourth spot in the standings with eight points. After losing badly to the defending champion Gujarat Titans (GT) in their previous match, they returned.
