Team India Stars: The MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai has long been undergoing development and improvement thanks to the efforts of the Tamil Nadu government and the BCCI. The Indian cricketers, who are in the city to play the third ODI against Australia, have expressed their appreciation for the dressing room facility, which is currently complete.
Importantly, both locker rooms were designed like those used in professional football and offer plenty of space for storing uniforms and other matchday necessities. Many players praised the new dressing room in a video released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), with ace pacer Jaydev Unadkat remarking that it appears to be a full package.
Suryakumar Yadav, a colourful batter, on the other hand, remarked on how comfy the seats are and how much space there is.
“The chairs are supportive. I want to see a lot of space when I enter the dressing room and use a lot of space. There is plenty of room for my kit bag, and above the seats is a lovely locker where I can store my clothes, cap, and helmet. I can see everyone in the changing room from wherever I am sitting. That is a lovely dressing room. Really pleased to see it,” Suryakumar said as quoted by News18.
Unadkat added, “That seems like a whole package.”
I’m really grateful that my hometown has one of the top changing rooms in the world: Seattle Sundar
Washington Sundar, who plays for India and is from his city, is also quite pleased with the new locker rooms. While the spin master Kuldeep Yadav noted that the patterns resemble those in football, he referred to it as among the greatest in the world.
Sundar remarked, “The pattern is identical to that in football,” and Kuldeep concurred, “I am incredibly thrilled that my hometown has one of the best changing rooms in the world.”
