Mediaset via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan want Sassuolo captain Domenico Berardi to offer them depth in right-wing.
Berardi is shaping up to be the top choice for the right-wing position for Milan.
They are also looking at Rodrigo De Paul, midfielder for their fellow Serie A club Udinese, for the attacking midfield.
So, if AC Milan succeed in both transfers, De Paul would be an attacking midfielder and Berardi would play right-wing.
But as per previous transfer news from late last year, Arsenal also wanted the Udinese midfielder.
AC Milan Want Sassuolo Captain
Meanwhile, the Sassuolo captain has been linked with the Rossoneri a couple of times in prior transfer news.
If Milan finally snap him up, Berardi would be a solid upgrade over Samu Castillejo.
Milan are reportedly looking to offer 15-20 million euros plus Matteo Gabbia, on a swap deal, for the winger.
However, on the other hand, Sassuolo are looking to get about 40 million euros for the player.
MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan are sure to sell Castillejo this summer transfer window.
And to take up Castillejo’s role, Milan want a more attack-minded right winger than Alexis Saelemaekers.
Berardi is an ideal addition to Milan right now because he is perfect for this attacking right-wing position.
This is because he has significant Serie A experienced and regularly scoring in the double digits.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that LOSC Lille winger Jonathan Ikone is also an option for the club.
After all, the 23-year-old has been impressive this season and has so much room to grow.
