Armstrong Oko-Flex joined Swansea City on loan from West Ham United On 30 August 2022. He will remain at the Swansea.com Stadium for the rest of this season.
Oko-Flex joined the Hammers from Celtic on a free transfer in June 2021. Since then, the winger has made 3 appearances for the first team.In a search for regular play time, the Dubliner has moved across the border.
In a recent interview, with hiis current club’s website he has expressed what he hopes to achieve.
“It feels good to be here, the boys have been really welcoming, as have the staff and the manager,” Armstrong Oko-Flex said.
“It has felt easy for me to settle here, I love the style of play the club has, dominating possession and playing through the thirds.
“I wanted to come somewhere where a team wanted to have possession, have the ball. And give players a chance to show what they can do.
“I hope I can bring directness with the ball, I like to take on players and go towards goal. I just want to contribute. And help the team win games and pick up points.
“I am hungry to play, I was on the bench on quite a few occasions last season. And I want that first-team action.
“I just wanted to come somewhere where I can play as much as I can. And help as much as I can.
“This is very important for me. It’s my first loan and I have to be ready to go. I think this is the right place and I want to make an impression and make my mark by helping us win games and contributing as much as I can.”
