Arsene Wenger is “convinced” that, while expecting progress from Antoine Griezmann, Barcelona should bring another forward.
“They should introduce another player, as it’s real that the key contributors are [Luis] Suarez and Lionel Messi and they that need someone else who can score goals,” he told beIN SPORT. “I do think Griezmann will start scoring goals at some point, he doesn’t look fully adjusted, and maybe he’ll be refreshed now after isolation because he’s still a strong goalscorer.”
However, he maintains that Suarez need not the replaced, per se: “Barcelona has always bought the biggest players. I’m not sure, personally, that Suarez needs to be replaced.
Nonetheless, Wenger remains sure Barcelona is not finishing buying players yet: “But I am sure that they are trying to purchase another player too.”
