Barcelona’s president Josep Maria Bartomeu says the team has spoken to Inter about a contract for Lautaro Martinez, but nothing is definite as of yet.
“The agreement is being suspended right now in the case of Lautaro. A couple of weeks earlier we were referring to Inter. We are in an assessment process,” Bartomeu told.
Nonetheless, the Catalan side stays concentrated on their targets for this season:
“There would be a very new business to come. The major clubs are going to be constrained by economic concerns but Barca is still a market-mover.”
Bartomeu continued, “We thought about Lautaro with Inter but not lately. We’re going to wait to finish the season and re-evaluate everything.”
