AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could have returned to Paris Saint-Germain in this summer transfer window.
According to Le Parisien, Zlatan was eager to come back to Paris before extending his Milan contract.
However, PSG sporting director Leonardo turned him down, and Ibra, in turn, accepted a contract extension with AC Milan.
Ibrahimovic played for the Parisian club from 2012 to 2016.
He then made a comeback to Milan in the season 2019-20.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Milan forward, is expected to begin training with the rest of the squad next week.
The Rossoneri veteran, in his off-time, is still working hard in the gym and the pool.
But he will officially be back in training with the rest of the Milan players soon, on next Monday.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ibra could be back on the grass at Milanello as early as next week.
